Last day @ Zalando’s News & Style

Bye Bye News & Style

Yesterday it was my last day at work! Though I made the decision myself to leave early, I had mixed feelings on this last day! Excited to start with a next chapter but also – strangely – sad to leave! Not so much because of the work, but the more because of my wonderful colleagues..
Apparently I left an impression there that I wasn’t aware of: as the Hipstergirl, hahaha.
In line with this, I received some greaaat goodbye gifts – which I really liked – So wait? Maybe I am a hipster ? – Hipster saying I am not Hipster?.. As today I bought a ticket to sell my stuff at the UBER HIPSTER WALHALLA : Flee market Mauerpark, It just might be the truth. Maybe my lucky cooky saying: someone you know deserves the truth, was about me admitting the awful truth to myself: I AM A HIPSTER!

Anyway, back to my last day I was kinda broke the silent office code of bringing food the day you leave, but, well, me bringing food during my period of work there kind of compared for that I think.. (or at least, I hope mhaha)

I was suprised by my team with some LOVELY strawberry bubbles (that became kind of a news and style tradition). And also! There was a IFC or ICM or IFM drink or whatever – all I cared about was the free food and beer it involved – that day at Zalando. WIehoooe, after some drinks I had to leave to my SAYANORA party (SORRY MARCIO, I know it is SAYONARA now) hiha, at the abandened ICE-factory.

There we met an Italian guy who also had goodbye party at the rooftop, which was COOL since they brought some good Music. After some wodka, appeljuice, confetti and other party-ingredients I decided to walk across the roof to dance to this italian-party-music with my friend when I heard; “ey! Ur dutch? Yeah? We met before? At the Lird (Lord? Lurd?Alert? I dont remember)-records party”. Wowww then I started to remember haha. Graham (aka Kill-EM) and Kaci (aka KACHING) where there partyyying and at some point playing the piano while I was shoving my phone in their face playing Nicolaas Jaar’s – Encore, trying to let them figure out the notes hahah.

Haha, That was fun! After everybody got a bit drunk (and some passing out into deep sleep on the rooftop, or spacingggg like crazy) we decided it was time to go elsewhere haha, with a candle we lit the way and found our way back to real life ..
